In a devastating turn of events, Russell Armstrong, the estranged husband of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Taylor Armstrong, was found dead of an apparent suicide on Monday night (August 15).
According to reports, the L.A. City Fire Department was called to a Los Angeles home just after 8 p.m. responding to a death on scene.
While talking with People magazine, LAPD spokesman Richard French told, "I can confirm that Mr. Armstrong was found dead from an apparent hanging in a residence on Mulholland Drive."
Taylor, who TMZ reports learned of Russel's death last night, had just filed for divorce last month - claiming that Armstrong had physically abused her during their relationship.
