Just one month removed from announcing their separation, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony reunited in Long Island near Sagg Main Beach in Southampton, New York.
The former couple both were seated in the back of a red Mustang convertible while offering up a wave to onlookers as two unidentified males sat in the front seats during the midday drive.
Despite numerous reports claiming a reconciliation, Miss Lopez's rep told TMZ, "They are NOT back together - they were just visiting each other and the children."
The sighting comes just as it was announced that Jennifer has signed a deal to return for another season of "American Idol" while an insider claims that Marc is having a tough time moving on.
Of Anthony's struggles with the failed relationship, the Us magazine source alleges, "His mood shifts from blaming her to begging her to take him back to telling her she is destroying his life."
The insider added that Marc is purposely making their divorce proceedings as complicated as possible because "he wants to prolong things so she reconsiders."
