"The Hunger Games" Announces "Catching Fire" Release Date
It doesn’t hit theaters until March 23rd, but there are two brand new photos from the upcoming “The Hunger Games.”
Starring Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth, “The Hunger Games” chronicles "a dystopic Capitol which requires its twelve subjugated districts to pay tribute in the form of a teenage boy and girl, forced to participate in the annual 'Hunger Games,' a fight-to-the-death live televised event."
Meanwhile, Lionsgate announced today that it will release “Catching Fire,” the film adaptation of the second book in Suzanne Collins' runaway bestselling "Hunger Games" trilogy, on November 22, 2013.
The announcement was made by Joe Drake, co-COO of Lionsgate and President of its Motion Picture Group. No further details have been released.
