Ryan Gosling: Gangster Guy

Hard at work on his new project, Ryan Gosling was spotted on the set of “Gangster Squad” in Los Angeles today (September 29).

The “Lars and the Real Girl” star looked dapper as he filmed a night scene with costar Josh Brolin, sporting a vintage suit and matching fedora.

And it sounds like Ryan made quite an impression on George Clooney while filming “The Ides of March.”

George told press, “The highlight of the film is watching Ryan Gosling’s work from beginning to end. He’s a wonderful actor. He was the only guy I could get really. And he’s cheap! He’s got nothing to do. He was unemployed.”

“He’s just one of the best in the business, truly. And he’s 30 years old - 25, or 15? Whatever he is, he’s just unbelievably talented.”

Beyonce's Next Single to be "Countdown"

She's boasted some serious girl power in her album's first two singles, and now Beyonce Knowles is ready to show her softer side with her newly announced follow up track "Countdown."

Ready to release the third cut off her uber-successful "4," the "Best I Never Had" singer will add "Countdown" to US radio on October 4 with a UK debut slated for October 30.

Co-written and co-produced by the mother-to-be, herself, the song samples the Boyz II Men single "Uhh Ahh."

Rumored to have already shot the video clip for the single, the offering is said to have been directed by Adria Petty, who worked with Beyonce during her "Sweet Dreams" project.

Rihanna's Racy "We Found Love" Shoot Goes to Belfast

Offering up another glimpse of her latest project, Rihanna got to work on filming her "We Found Love" music video in Northern Ireland today (September 27).

On location in Belfast, the scantily clad "S&M" songstress donned a midriff-revealing top and matching denim skirt with a pair of black stockings as she shot scenes in a classic white sports car.

Just yesterday, a topless RiRi was kicked off a County Down grain field after the Irish farmer who gave her permission to use the land deemed her video strip-down "inappropriate."

Baring her bosoms, Rihanna had untied her red handkerchief printed bikini top to shoot the racy clip when Alan Graham told her to cut it out, saying, "I have an ethos and I felt it was inappropriate. I requested them to stop and they did."

While the pop star did have to find a new spot for her sexy skit, Graham says there are no hard feelings, telling, "I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends. Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God."

Their past collaborations have proved to be fan favorites, and now Justin Bieber has revealed that he's hit the studio with his mentor Usher for his forthcoming Christmas album.

Sure have the girls swooning, the "Baby" singer couldn't hide his elation over the team-up with his "You Remind Me" pal, tweeting Monday (September 26) “just finished a late nt in the studio for the christmas album…it is OFFICIAL…my big bro @UsherRaymondIV is on the album with me!"

Adding to the excitement, Justin later wrote, "this duet with me and @USHERRAYMONDIV for #christmas is CRAZY!!!"

As previously reported by GossipCenter, Bieber's childhood inspiration "Boyz II Men" have also been tapped for the holiday album, which has been rumored to be eying a November 1st release.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Names 2011 Nominees

They're all names we recognize from the 80s and 90s, and this year’s list of nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class of 2012 has been released.

Coming up in April in Cleveland, OH, the winner from a nominees list which includes Guns N’Roses, Eric B & Rakim, Joan Jett, Heart, the Cure and the Spinners will be announced.

According to MTV, a handful of previous nominees are back again for another chance at the Hall, including the Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, War, Donovan and Laura Nyro.

Music groups become eligible for the Hall of Fame 25 years after the release of their very first single or album. In this case, the acts all started releasing their music on or before 1986.
