During her time at the west coast screening, Vanessa talked concerning taking the role largely as a result of she got the prospect to figure with co-star Michael Caine, as she said, "Any probability you get to figure with a legend, the legend being Michael Caine, you are taking it. To be on an equivalent screen as him is such an honor. you have to figure with the greats to be told from the greats."
Offering additional reasons for joining the project, the 23-year-old explained, "We filmed it in Hawaii. I was like, `Seriously, you are going to pay me to be in paradise for 2 months?' thus there was that too. Also, i would never been in a very three-D action film before, so was another extremely nice draw."
