Adam Lambert: Queen's New Lead Singer!
On the coattails of the debut of his new single “Better Than i do know Myself,” it had been simply announced that Adam Lambert has been tapped because the new lead singer of Queen!
The “Whaddya wish From Me” hitmaker can take the spot of original member, Freddie Mercury, who died back in 1991.
Of the honorable gig, Lambert told UK’s Daily Star, "The intention is to pay tribute to Freddie and therefore the band by singing some f*****g nice songs," Lambert, 30, told the paper. "It's to stay the music alive for the fans and provides it an energy that Freddie would are happy with. there is no intention in my mind of replacing Freddie. that is not possible."
Queen is ready to headline the Sonisphere pageant tour this summer.
