Box Office: "Chronicle" Edges Out "The girl In Black"
In what is been one among the year's closest races to this point, "Chronicle" has edged out the competition whereas creating its method atop the box workplace over the weekend of February 3-5, 2012.
The Josh Trank directed drama/sci-fi show took home an approximate $8.6 million on Friday and another $10.3 million on Saturday whereas pacing towards a pack-leading $22.2 million total.
Just slightly behind "Chronicle" is Daniel Radcliffe's new movie "The girl In Black," that spooked up an estimated $8.3 million and $9.8 million on Friday and Saturday, respectively, whereas projected to finish up with $21.5 million throughout its 1st weekend of unleash.
Rounding out the highest 5 at the box workplace in estimated weekend totals are last week's winner "The Grey" ($9.8 million), followed by the Drew Barrymore/John Krasinski starring whale tale "Big Miracle" ($8.5 million) and Kate Beckinsale's "Underworld: Awakening" ($5.8 million).
