Steven Spielberg Holds "War Horse" World Premiere in NYC
Debuting his latest theatrical effort, Steven Spielberg held the world premiere of "War Horse" in New York City on Sunday night (December 4).
Bringing along his lovely daughter Sasha for the red carpet festivities, the "Indiana Jones" mastermind was joined by cast members including Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Irvine and Emily Watson at the Avery Fisher Hall venue inside Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
With stars such as Elizabeth Olsen and Ed Westwick also on-hand, the group worked the arrivals area before heading inside to check out the first showing of the dramatic World War I era motion picture.
Set to hit theaters on Christmas Day (December 25), the story follows a young man named Albert and his horse, Joey, while showing how their bond is broken when the horse is sold to the cavalry to fight in the war. Despite being too young to enlist, Albert sets out for France to find his loyal companion.
