SNL Recap: Steve Buscemi Hosts, The Black Keys Perform

Taking the helm of the long-running NBC sketch comedy show's latest installment, Steve Buscemi hosted last night's (December 3) episode of "Saturday Night Live".

The "Reservoir Dogs" actor opened up the show with a monologue in which he spoke at length about being a creepy character actor for many years before taking the lead on "Boardwalk Empire" - during which he found himself oft interrupted by "character actor" audience members asking for advice.

Highlights of the latest "SNL" included one skit in which Buscemi played the role of Coach Bert, who happened to be a suspicious looking assistant coach on a college basketball team in a poke at the sex scandals plaguing Penn State and Syracuse.

The program also parodied Miley Cyrus' recent 19th birthday "I'm a stoner" incident via "The Miley Cyrus Show" while Weekend Update focused on politician Herman Cain, who was portrayed talking about his decision to suspend his campaign to be the GOP's presidential nominee.

Meanwhile, the night's musical guest was The Black Keys, who performed renditions of "Lonely Boy" and "Gold On The Ceiling" during the course of the show.
