Former Miss USA Rima Fakih Nabbed for DUI
Landing herself in an undesirable situation, RIma Fakih was arrested in Highland Park, Michigan early Saturday morning (December 3) for driving under the influence of alcohol.
The former Miss USA's lawyer Donaid Elder confirmed the news to the Detroit Free Press, telling that his client is “very saddened and very apologetic for the situation that she is in right now.”
According to insiders, Miss Fakih spent most of the day behind bars after registering a .20 on her breathalyzer test.
While the message has since been deleted, Rima at first denied the DUI pickup via a tweet posted at 5PM yesterday, as she wrote, "Let’s clear things up now.... I’m NOT in Michigan and I’m NOT in jail! Wrong Fakih."
